According to the Stafford Township Police Department, on Thursday, July 13, 2023, the Stafford Township Police Department received a report of a motor vehicle theft that occurred at the Wawa, located at 320 Rt. 72 E. Manahawkin, NJ.

Investigation revealed that during the early morning hours, a 2021 Porsche Macan S had been stolen from the gas pumps, while the owner was inside of the store.

The stolen vehicle was later located in Pleasantville, NJ on July 25, 2023. Investigation by the Stafford Township Detective Bureau resulted in a warrant being issued for a 17-year-old male juvenile suspect from Pleasantville, NJ for 3rd degree Theft of Moveable Property 2C:20-3. A separate warrant was issued for an additional male juvenile suspect out of the Pleasantville, NJ on the charges of 3rd degree Receiving Stolen Property 2C:20-7. The juveniles have not been apprehended at this time.
