Prepare for Cold Mornings in New Jersey Before Possible Storm Hits

At least for the mornings, it's time to pull out the winter gear. With morning lows dropping into the freezing 30s and midday highs barely breaking the mid-50s, the workweek gets off to a frigid start.

MONDAY: More clouds. Highs in the low to mid 50s.
TUESDAY: Sun & Clouds. Highs in the 50s.
WEDNESDAY: Showers possible, highs in the 50s.
THU-FRI: Rain and wind possible. Highs in the 50s.
A TROPICAL UPDATE:The Caribbean is still being pounded by Hurricane Melissa, a strong, potent storm that moves slowly. Tomorrow, it is expected to reach landfall in Jamacia as a Category 5 storm. As of right present, the predicted trajectory does not anticipate any direct effects on the mainland United States.
Two potential storm tracks are being tracked by the weather agency.

The Jersey Shore would be more vulnerable to wind and floods if the track were closer to the coast. The storm's effects can be lessened if it passes west of New Jersey and travels farther inland. Check the latest forecast.
