Rehabbed Bald Eagle Released at Cattus Island County Park

According to Ocean County Parks & Recreation Department, Don Bonica, Toms River Avian Care, and Blake Allen, Conserve Wildlife of NJ Bald Eagle Project, released a rehabilitated Bald Eagle at Cattus Island County Park.

The Bald Eagle was found in March on the side of Route 18 after being hit by a passing vehicle.

It spent a month at Toms River Avian Care recuperating from its injuries. Toms River Avian Care is a volunteer state & federally licensed wild bird rehabilitation center.
