Joan M. Killeen, 59, of Toms River, NJ, passed away in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Born in Staten Island, NY, she lived most of her life in Toms River, moving to the area 56 years ago.

Joan was a Bar Manager and Bartender for Maggie’s Bar and Grill in Lakewood, NJ.

She is reunited in Heaven with her father James P. Killeen.

Joan will be forever held and remembered in the hearts of her loving family; her daughter Jamie and her husband Bryce Taylor, her mother Jane L. (DeTrani) Killeen, her brother James F. and his wife Cheryl Killeen, her sisters Kathleen and her husband Joseph Stanton, and Carolyn and her husband Shawn Sickler, her nieces and nephews: Cassidy, Alyssa, Joseph, Shane, Kevin and Julia, one grand nephew Aslan, and a granddaughter on the way.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a Memorial Gathering to celebrate Joan’s life on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 3pm to 6pm at the Carmona Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River, NJ. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 5:30pm at the funeral home.
