Remembering Karen H. Vaccaro, 76, of Manchester Township
MARCH 20, 1948 – JANUARY 15, 2025
Karen H. Vaccaro, age 76, of Manchester Township, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, with her family by her side. Karen was born and raised in Providence, RI, and moved to NJ in 1970 and settled in Long Branch, NJ before moving to the Renaissance in Manchester, NJ in 2000. She had worked as a Payroll Supervisor for Monmouth University in West Long Branch for several years.
While living in the Renaissance, Karen served on the Board of Trustees and was also a former member and Treasurer of the Women's Club. She enjoyed playing Bocce and was also a past president of the Bocce Club. She also served as the former Secretary on the Pinelands Municipal Council, former member of the Manchester Township Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Manchester Regular Republican Club.
Karen loved shopping, especially on QVC, had a deep love of travel and cruised her way around the globe visiting many countries.
What brought her the most joy was spending time her family and being a wife, mom, Nanny and GiGi.
Karen is survived by her Husband of 40 years, James A. Vaccaro, Sr., Vice President of Council, her daughter Heather H. Fiaschi and her son Jason Scott Oldham and his wife Meghan, her stepdaughter Dr. Kimberly Anne Vaccaro and stepson, James A. Vaccaro, Jr. and his wife Colleen, her grandchildren; Kaeli A. TenEyck and her husband Jacob K. TenEyck, LCpl. Adam J. Oldham, USMC, Connor M. Oldham, Victoria Vaccaro, Gabriella Vaccaro, Natalie Vaccaro and Julian Vaccaro, and her great granddaughter Brilee A. TenEyck, as well as her sister-in-law Susan Hill, her niece Brenda and nephew Brian.
