Linda F. Fonte, 72, of Whiting, NJ, passed away on March 14, 2026. Linda was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 14, 1954 to her parents Angelo and Mary (nee: Scarfi) Incorvaia.

Linda and her husband Thomas moved to Whiting three years ago from Egg Harbor Township after spending most of their lives in Brooklyn, NY. Linda had a long and distinguished career with St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, NY that spanned three decades. She began her career as an Academic Advisor and worked her way up to Associate Dean, a position she held for over ten years. In addition to her administrative position at the college, she also taught several classes.

Outside of her professional achievements, Linda enjoyed many personal interests including art and history, baking and cooking, and most of all Linda was known for endearing love of Disney. Additionally, when she was active in the church, she enjoyed volunteering, singing in the choir, and painting statues for display at the church. Above all, Linda’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Mary Incorvaia.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Thomas Fonte, her two children Mary Frances Fonte and Anthony Fonte and his wife Katherine Solis-Fonte, her two adored grandchildren; Amelia Fonte Solis and Aiden Fonte Solis, as well as her sister Marie Colonna and her husband Nick.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 66 Lacey Road, Manchester Township, NJ 08759.
