In Loving Memory of Melynda "Mindy" Frazier: A Heartfelt Farewell

Melynda "Mindy" Frazier, a beacon of love and generosity, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, in Fort Pierce, Florida, at the age of 50.

Born on November 13, 1974, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, Mindy was the first-born grandchild on both sides of the family. Her infectious smile and kind spirit were a gift to all who knew her.

Mindy was the precious daughter of Guy M. McCuen and Lynn McCuen and grew up surrounded by her loving siblings, Mike and Cy McCuen. Her bond with her family was unbreakable, and she took immense joy in the company of her nephews, Maxwell and Beckett.

Mindy was part of a large, caring family that included her sister-in-law Christie McCuen, aunts and uncles, Julie and Joe Stauffer, Karen Petersen, Monya and Wayne Harris, Mary and Fred Bryan, Glen and Sherry McCuen, Ty McCuen, and JT and Tracy McCuen, her friend Bryan Appel, as well as numerous cousins, family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

A proud graduate of Port St. Lucie High School, Class of 1992, Mindy continued her education at Indian River Community College and Monmouth Community College, where she earned her degree as a Dental Assistant.

Her professional life was marked by her dedication to her work, managing a dental office and serving as a Dental Assistant. Mindy's work ethic and care for her patients reflected her innate desire to help others.

Mindy married Charles Frazier Jr. and lived in Toms River, New Jersey where she gave birth to her son Carson. He was the center of her universe and her life. She raised Carson with all the love and devotion in her heart. As a devoted mother, she supported Carson at every turn, from cheering at his baseball and basketball games to celebrating every milestone with pride and joy. Her love for him knew no bounds, and she instilled in him the values of kindness, compassion, and generosity that she embodied every day.

Mindy was a strong happy woman with a great sense of humor. She loved to prank her friends and family and have a good laugh. Mindy's zest for life was evident in her active participation in sports and leisure. She was a spirited cheerleader and skilled softball player from her Little League days through high school. Her enthusiasm for the games was matched only by her love for the beach, where she found peace and happiness in the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun. Cooking was another of Mindy's passions, and she took great pleasure in preparing meals and Grandma P's Chex Mix for her loved ones, always ensuring that everyone was well-fed and happy.

Mindy was a Christian who loved God and Jesus. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Mindy will remember her as a loving, thoughtful, and generous soul, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting word. Her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will continue to inspire and guide us.

Mindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack and Shirley McCuen, H. A. Petersen and Bobbie Petersen, and Norma Petersen, uncles Alan and Jon Petersen, who were undoubtedly there to welcome her with open arms. Her cherished dog, Duchess, who provided her with companionship and joy, also predeceased her.

As we bid farewell to Melynda "Mindy" Frazier, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, love, and an unending capacity for kindness. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy will continue to influence the world for the better. Mindy's journey on earth may have concluded, but the memories of her love and laughter will remain with us forever.
