Route 35 Partially Closed Due to Flooding on Barrier Island
A portion of Route 35 on the barrier island in northern Ocean County has been closed due to flooding caused by Thursday's intense rain, according to authorities.
Route 35 was closed south of Brick due to flooding, according to a notice issued by the Ocean County Sheriff's Office on Thursday afternoon.
In addition to downtown Toms River, there have been reports of road flooding advisories and closures in Brick, Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach, and Bay Head.
