School Bus Carrying Students Crashes in New Jersey
According to authorities, a school bus carrying pupils from the Robbinsville School District was involved in a traffic collision on Tuesday morning.
According to Patrick Pizzo, superintendent of Robbinsville Public Schools, there have been no reports of life-threatening injuries.
The Robbinsville Police Department received many 911 reports about a school bus crash on Hankins Road at approximately 7:38 a.m.
When cops arrived, they discovered that a school bus carrying pupils to Pond Road Middle School had veered off the road and struck a tree. Before the collision, the school bus was heading east on Hankins Road near #125 Hankins Road, according to Robbinsville Police.
Ten pupils were on board with the driver, according to the authorities.
At the site, emergency personnel assessed all Pond Road Middle School children and staff that were on the bus. According to authorities, one student passenger was taken to Princeton Medical Center and the bus driver was transferred to
Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
According to Pizzo, school authorities have made direct contact with the families of the impacted pupils.
Robbinsville Police Department Patrolman Colin Lockwood is still investigating the crash. Details regarding the possible cause of the bus's departure off the road have not been made public by officials.
