  • Rock 101 (ages 8-13) is one of the most popular programs for youngsters and novices at School of Rock Brick. Students get one weekly group rehearsal where they learn to perform simple versions of popular rock tunes. Students in Brick also have a weekly private music session with an instructor who assists them in learning the concepts and abilities behind their performance.

  • The School of Rock Brick Performance Program (ages 8-18) is their flagship music program, with tens of thousands of students enrolled each year. It comprises of a weekly group rehearsal in which youngsters and teens learn by playing legendary rock songs with a band made up of their peers. Songs and parts are assigned to students according on their age, experience, and aptitude to pick up new skills and concepts. The students then practice their parts in weekly private music sessions, honing the abilities and concepts introduced by the songs. This curriculum's purpose is to prepare children and teenagers for live performances. Every few months, School of Rock Brick Performance Program students hit the stage and perform in front of a live audience at local Brick music venues.

  • The Songwriting for Kids and Teens curriculum covers the principles of songwriting, arrangement, and music theory while also assisting students in creating original pieces. Songwriting students at School of Rock Brick receive one weekly private class in which they learn concepts, technique, and theory on the instrument of their choosing. These concepts are then put into practice in a weekly group lesson in which students collaborate on songwriting exercises and lyrical workshops. Songwriting students perform on stage or join bands to record their original tunes every few months.

The Adult Program, like the rest of the School of Rock's music offerings, focuses on performance-based music education. This means that the program emphasizes the acquisition of musical principles and their application in a live performing situation. One weekly private music instruction and a weekly group rehearsal are included in our Adult Music Program. Every student at School of Rock Brick is placed in a band with other adults and given specific songs to acquire important music concepts and techniques. Adult students then take to the stage for a live performance in Brick.
