Severe Weather Alert: Garden State Braces for Another Storm
Forecasters predict that another powerful storm will affect the weather in the Garden State on Wednesday and Thursday, possibly bringing with it flooding and wind gusts.
The
National Weather Service reports that while some rain is predicted starting Monday night, the storm's main action is forecast to intensify Wednesday afternoon and could provide up to two inches of rain Wednesday night, with locally greater amounts perhaps closer to the coast.
A stronger low pressure system will impact the area Wednesday through early Thursday bringing yet another round of rain. The pattern will
remain unsettled into next weekend with another system impacting the region on Saturday, according to NWS.
Based on its daily forecast, AccuWeather is already expecting travel delays on Thursday because of possible flooding.
Wednesday's high is expected to be close to 60 degrees, and Thursday through the weekend, the temperature will be in the 50s. The bright side is that Sunday is expected to bring beautiful skies after Saturday's cloudy and rainy weather.
