Snow and Rain Predicted for New Jersey as Storm Develops

With a large storm forming that will affect New Jersey later this week, forecasters are predicting extensive, beneficial rain to help ease some of the dry conditions.

However, there are also some flakes flying in the Garden State.

According to AccuWeather meteorologists, the storm that is presently building over the Great Lakes will bring heavy rain and violent gusts to the whole Garden State. From Wednesday evening to the end of the week, it is anticipated to occur.

The National Weather Service says there may even be some snow in some places and a little thunder in others. However, the snow will probably only be found in the northwest's higher mountains.

Forecasters caution that even while the rain is much needed, drought conditions won't be entirely resolved.
