Snowfall Forecast: Up to 4 Inches Across 15 Counties in NJ on Sunday

Parts of 15 New Jersey counties are under a weather alert for the possibility of 1 to 4 inches of snow on Sunday during the second half of consecutive winter storms.

The National Weather Service predicted that the second storm on Sunday will result in greater amounts of snowfall south and west of the I-95 corridor.
According to the meteorological service, areas in northeastern counties and central New Jersey may receive two to four inches of snow.

The majority of the state is expected to receive one to three inches of snow on Sunday, according to AccuWeather's forecast map.

On Sunday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., there is a winter weather advisory.

Before the week's harsh cold starts, New Jersey can expect two to three inches of snow on Sunday.

The coldest part will be Monday night through Tuesday, with highs remaining below freezing. All week long, temperatures are below average, and by next weekend, there is a minor probability of precipitation."
