The Casqueira family is paying homage to the well-known Netflix series by creating displays with thousands of synchronized LED lights.
Thanks to a Brick Township family, fans of the Netflix series "Stranger Things" will be able to celebrate Halloween in the glow of more than 100,000 LED lights.
A Stranger Things Halloween Light Show will debut on September 23 as part of the Casqueira Holiday Light Show.
The show has thousands of individually adjustable pixels, more than 100,000 synchronised LED lights, and music from the well-known Netflix series. The music is broadcast on radio station 103.1 FM, allowing listeners to watch the light show and drive at the same time.
The family stated, "Lead U is very involved in our community and will be providing programming for many schools in Ocean County in the upcoming academic year.
The Casqueiras will accept donations for LeadU through a GoFundMe page as well as through a lock box outside their house. Direct donations can also be sent to LeadU.
The Casqueira Holiday Light Display will be giving away prizes, the family said, and an ice cream truck named Piper's Snacks will be stopping by the light show on the busiest nights with a selection of yummy treats.
Along with the coordinated light show, the family also runs a custom crafts company to help further its objective. The shirts available from Casqueira Holiday Light Show Custom Shirts and Customizable Crafts benefit the LeadU donations.
According to them, "a portion of every sale is donated to our ongoing commitment through the Casqueira Holiday Light Show."
The display will start on September 23 and run every night until the end of the day on Halloween at the family's Brick home,
843 Downey Avenue. On Sundays through Thursdays, it will run from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays, it will run from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
As per the family, "Please remember to be respectful to our property, our neighbors, and other visitors. Please adjust or turn off your headlights, if you can. "Please take into account the volume of the music. Keep the volume at a friendly level for other people and our neighbors who wholeheartedly support what we do. We enjoy our enthusiastic viewers who sing, dance, and come to visit us."
