Preparations are underway for the 2025 summer season at the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department. They are hiring Class I Special Law Enforcement Officers to assist with seasonal policing needs.

Point Pleasant Beach police are also taking applications for part-time dispatchers, parking enforcement, and Class II officers in addition to Class I officers. Interested applicants may fill out the form here to apply. They should attach a resume and cover letter.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be eighteen (18) years old
  • Citizen of the United States
  • Read, write, and speak the English language well and intelligently
  • Have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • Good moral character, sound body and in good health
  • Not convicted of any offense involving dishonesty or which would make the person unfit to perform the duties of the office.
