A dramatic rescue in Seaside Park was captured on drone footage on Sunday afternoon.

According to Jersey Shore Fire Response A swimmer in trouble was reported to Ocean County 911 near 2nd Ave Beach in Seaside Park, New Jersey, at approximately 2:25 PM. Three swimmers were in the water when the police arrived: two were surfers, and the third swimmer was helping the other swimmer who was in trouble.

When PD & Fire got to the beach, the swimmer was safely out of the water thanks to the surfer's ability to toss the struggling man over his board and paddle him in.

The breathlessness of the anxious swimmer was the only medical symptom, and they declined EMS treatment. While speaking with EMS on the beach, the other helping swimmer was exhibiting signs of tiredness and had declined medical attention.

When visiting the Jersey Shore or enjoying the beautiful beaches remember if there are no lifeguards please do not swim in the ocean.
