Thomas William Chletsos, 76, of Toms River, joined his loved ones in heaven on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Born in Newark, New Jersey, Thomas was a proud graduate of North Arlington High School, where his passion for learning and teaching began to flourish. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Jersey City State College, a milestone that paved the way for a fulfilling career in education.

For over 30 years, Thomas dedicated his life to teaching, becoming a beloved figure among his students. His warmth, patience, and unwavering commitment to their success made him a favorite teacher, inspiring countless young minds to reach their full potential.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Thomas was a devoted family man. He met and married the love of his life, Patricia, and together they built a beautiful family filled with love and laughter. Thomas cherished every moment spent with his two sons, Thomas and Alexander, and daughter, Corry, who were the pride and joy of his life.

An avid lover of the beach, Thomas found peace and happiness by the ocean, where he enjoyed spending time with his family, soaking up the sun, and creating cherished memories.

Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Ann Chletsos, and his two brothers Theodore and Gregory.

He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia Chletsos, his two sons Thomas and Alexander, daughter Corry, and his two sisters Carol Smith and Joanie Molloy, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

In honoring Thomas's wishes, services will remain private for the family.

His legacy of love, dedication, and inspiration will continue to live on in the lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. “In His light, we find comfort”.
