Thunderstorms Expected in New Jersey Amidst Rainy Weather

According to the most recent forecast, New Jersey will have a warm and rainy Thursday with the potential for potentially severe thunderstorms later in the evening.

According to the National Weather Service, there will be two main rounds of showers that come and go throughout the day and into tonight. The first round comes in the morning, and nothing too serious is anticipated—just sprinkles.

Forecasters predicted that the second round will be more fierce. Forecasters with the National Weather Service said that there is a slight probability of severe thunderstorms this evening and overnight.
The biggest danger from strong storms, according to forecasts, will be destructive winds.

The National Weather Service predicts high temperatures will be in the upper 60s to upper 70s. As the rainy weather persists into next week, temperatures will vary over the course of the weekend.

"The pattern is similar to last weekend in the Northeast where temperatures hovered in the 30s, 40s and 50s in the chilly air, but outside of that chilly wedge, temperatures reached balmy levels in the 60s, 70s and 80s," Dave Dombek, senior meteorologist for AccuWeather stated.
