Cinco de Mayo Festival
DATE: May 4th
TIME: 12pm – 6pm
LOCATION: Washington Street
Join The Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District for their Second Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival. The street will be filled with merchandise vendors, handcrafters, and live entertainment. Local businesses, restaurants, brewery and distillery open on the street.
Downtown Night Out 2024

Downtown Night Out is back for 2024! Every Friday and Saturday night beginning in May, Downtown Toms River comes alive and you don’t want to miss it. Throughout downtown, restaurants and businesses are open with outdoor dining on Washington St, music, shopping and more. So grab your friends and family and head downtown.

DATE: Every Wednesday (Starting June 12th Until October 2nd)

The Farmers’ Market celebrates everything great about New Jersey. New Jersey farms selling local grown fruit and vegetables.
Vendors selling flowers, local honey, specialty foods, pickles & olives, baked goods, mushrooms, guacamole, soaps and lotions, household products and a NJ Winery, distillery, and brewery. Smoothie truck on premises every week.

Harvest Arts Festival
DATE: Saturday, Oct. 19th
TIME: 11am-5pm
LOCATION: Washington Street
The Harvest Arts Festival is set for Saturday, October 19th along Washington Street in Downtown Toms River. Washington St. will be filled with food trucks, merchandise & handcraft vendors, a beer & wine garden and local artists selling and displaying their works as part of a juried art show.
There will be free pumpkin painting for the kids and other kids activities. Live entertainment from local bands throughout the day. Local businesses, restaurants, brewery and distillery will be open on the street as well. Free Admission & Free parking in downtown during the event.
Holiday Decorating Contest
DATE: November 30th through December 31st
LOCATION: Washington & Main Street
Wreath judging will be done by popular vote. The public can only vote once. Ballots are not valid without your name and email address. Ballots will be available at participating businesses in Downtown Toms River. Just look for the Wreath Walk Poster in their window.
Tree Lighting/Winter Wonderland
TREE LIGHTING
DATE: Friday, Dec. 6th
TIME: 5pm-7pm
LOCATION: Washington Street
Live entertainment begins at 5pm. Santa arrives on the fire truck at 7pm to light the tree. Photos with Santa will follow the tree lighting in Town Hall. Live music and entertainment.
WINTER WONDERLAND
DATE: Saturday, Dec. 7th
TIME: 11am – 5pm
LOCATION: Washington Street Washington Street will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland . Vendors, kid’s activities, hot chocolate station, holiday music and more. Downtown businesses will be open.
