The Toms River Fire Company No.1 are happy to announce that the Toms River Halloween Parade is a go for 2022 and is schedule for Monday, October 31, 2022 at 7 pm.
The parade route begins at the Toms River Shopping Centre on the corner of Highland Parkway and Rt. 166 (Main St.) The parade will travel down Main Street turning left onto Washington Street ending at the corner of Washington Street and Hooper Ave. All Spectators need to be south of Highland parkway. The parade will be broadcasted live on Toms River Fire Co.#1 Facebook.
ALL Registration is done the day of the parade ONLY at the Henry Runco Firehouse on Robbins Street between Washington Street & Water Street.
Again, the parade will be held on Monday, October 31st.
The Toms River Halloween Parade, which began in 1937 as a local municipal Halloween event, is now the world's second largest, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
People from all over Ocean County come to the parade route to watch the floats, marching bands, organizations, families and kids dressed up in their costumes.
All are excited for the Halloween Parade in Toms River. There have only been three times in the background of the fire department that the parade had been terminated. The very first time remained in the 1920s during the Great Clinical depression. The second time resulted from Superstorm Sandy. The 3rd was for the coronavirus.
