Toms River Mother of Five Dies After Courageous Fight Against Cancer

According to her obituary on the Ocean County Cremation Service website, Tina Vasile, a mother of five from Toms River, died on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, following a three-year fight with ovarian cancer. Her age was forty-five.
Tina, who was born in Lakewood, was renowned for her glitzy fashion sense, love of life, and unwavering devotion to her kids. Tina, a former actress and model, loved music, fashion, and makeup. She never turned down a chance to go to a show or have a night out.

Her obituary goes on to say that she enjoyed traveling, shopping, and thrifting, and that she loved Halloween, horror films, and anything spooky.

On a GoFundMe page, Tina was recalled as a selfless mother who left behind five children, Dylan, Devontay, Arianna, Autumn, and Angelo, who ranged in age from 12 to 24. She also leaves behind Tori, her cherished cat. As of this writing, the GoFundMe had raised over $15,000.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
With Tina’s passing, her family is not only mourning the loss of an incredible mother but also facing financial uncertainty. They are raising funds to help cover the costs of her end-of-life celebration and final resting arrangements.
