In connection with the early-morning death of Reinaldo Feliciano, Jr., 35, of Toms River, on October 24, 2020, Samantha Massimino, 36, of Toms River, admitted guilt to manslaughter on May 1, 2023, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. The State will be asking for a sentence of seven years in New Jersey state prison at her sentencing on July 7, 2023, subject to the provisions of the No Early Release Act.
According to prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer, Samantha A. Massimino, 36, admitted guilt to manslaughter before Superior Court Judge Guy P. Ryan in the death of Reinaldo Feliciano Jr., 35, also of Toms River. According to Billhimer, she will be sentenced on July 7 and the state will ask for a seven-year prison term according to the No Early Release Act.
On October 24, 2020, at around 4 a.m., Toms River police responding to a 911 call to a residence discovered Feliciano with a knife wound to his leg, according to the authorities.
Feliciano was rushed to Community Medical Center in Toms River but passed away from his wounds at around 4:45 in the morning, according to officials.
Investigators discovered that Massimino and Feliciano were dating and that they had a heated disagreement that evening that went physical. Massimino seized a knife during the altercation, then stabbed Feliciano in the leg.
Massimino was detained at the scene and is currently being held at the Ocean County Jail.
