Toms River's JBJ Soul Kitchen Celebrates a Successful Chili Cook-off

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer attended the 10th Annual JBJ Soul Kitchen Chili Cook-off at the JBJ Soul Kitchen in Toms River! First Responders from across New Jersey entered to see who could cook-up the tastiest chili! Captain Casey Long, Sergeant Thomas Haskell and Systems Analyst Scott Stoker represented OCPO and Jersey Shore FOP Lodge 222, serving their Combustible Chili! Congratulations to this year’s winner Ocean County Sheriff’s Office PBA Local #379!

JBJ Soul Kitchen Toms River is a non-profit community restaurant, run by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation that serves paying and in-need customers.

There are no prices on the menu. Diners are asked to make a donation that covers their meal, and someone else's meal, too.

And if you can't donate money, you can donate service – waiting tables or washing dishes, in exchange for your meal. The JBJ Soul Kitchen is located at 1769 Hooper Avenue in Toms River.
