Island Beach State Park – Open Saturday & Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Atsion Recreation Area – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Belleplain State Forest – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Cheesequake State Park – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

High Point State Park – Opening Date TBA

Hopatcong State Park – Opening Sunday, June 15 from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Parvin State Park – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Round Valley Recreation Area – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Swartswood State Park – Closed Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Wawayanda State Park – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Additional swimming areas will open in mid-June. We are currently recruiting and training lifeguards for additional areas.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

🏊🏻‍♂️Swimming is only permitted when lifeguards are on duty.

🚫Lakefront beaches are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

♻KEEP IT CLEAN AND GREEN! Protect local habitats by taking your trash with you. Whatever you carry into the park, plan on carrying it out too. Bring a bag or two for trash, recycling and cleaning up after your pet. There are no trash receptacles in the park.

✅Any lifejackets used in our swimming areas must be US Coast Guard approved.
