Island Beach State Park – Open Saturday & Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Atsion Recreation Area – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Belleplain State Forest – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Cheesequake State Park – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

High Point State Park – Opening Date TBA

Hopatcong State Park – Opening Sunday, June 15 from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Parvin State Park – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Round Valley Recreation Area – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Swartswood State Park – Closed Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Wawayanda State Park – Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Additional swimming areas will open in mid-June. We are currently recruiting and training lifeguards for additional areas.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

Swimming is only permitted when lifeguards are on duty.

Lakefront beaches are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

KEEP IT CLEAN AND GREEN! Protect local habitats by taking your trash with you. Whatever you carry into the park, plan on carrying it out too. Bring a bag or two for trash, recycling and cleaning up after your pet. There are no trash receptacles in the park.

Any lifejackets used in our swimming areas must be US Coast Guard approved.
