Tragedy Unfolds: Man Shoots Girlfriend and 10-Year-Old Before Suicide in NJ
The bodies of a man, woman, and a 10-year-old child were discovered shot to death in Hamilton, NJ according to Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey.
Authorities said the man shot himself after shooting his girlfriend and her 10-year-old daughter, according to the preliminary investigation.
Hamilton police responded to a 911 call from a home in the 200 block of Henry Street just before 4 a.m. on Thursday.
Officers arrived to discover a 10-year-old, a woman, and a man who had been shot. According to Marbrey, all three were declared deceased at the site.
The Hamilton Police Division and the Mercer County Homicide Task Force are investigating what happened before the shootings.
