Tragic Discovery: Body Located on Jersey Shore Beach
According to Cape May Police Department, a death investigation is ongoing in the City of Cape May.
Earlier Monday morning, patrol officers from the Cape May Police Department discovered the body of an approximately 50-year-old male at the Cove Beach near the end of Beach Drive. Detectives from the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and the Cape May Police Department immediately responded and are currently conducting an investigation.According to Prosecutor Sutherland, there is no public threat, the death is not suspicious, and the initial inquiry has not turned up any evidence of foul play.
