According to the Atlantic County Prosecutors Office, authorities are investigating a hit-and-run in Galloway Thursday night that killed a woman from Barnegat.
Police responded to White Horse Pike (Route 30) westbound near Seventh Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. on Sept. 12 for a fatal motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said Friday. Angeletta Sheppard, 33, was killed in the crash, authorities said.
