Fatal Stabbing: Husband Kills Wife in Family Home in NJ
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, In the city of Perth Amboy, a man is charged with fatally stabbing his wife late on Friday night.
Wellinton Leonardo is accused by the prosecutor of fatally stabbing his wife in the presence of his children, and he is also charged with two weapons charges, one act of first-degree murder, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Rosana Rodriguez, 40, has been named by the authorities as the deceased woman.
Law enforcement got a 911 call about a stabbing at Bertrand Avenue at 2:57 a.m. on Saturday. Officers found a man and a woman laying on the kitchen floor when they arrived. It seemed like they had both been stabbed.
After being taken to Bay Medical Center, Rodriguez was eventually declared deceased. For additional care, her spouse was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Yolanda Ciccone, the Middlesex County Prosecutor, stated that Rodriguez and Leonardo were wed.
The
GoFundMe page created to gather money for the four girls states that the deceased woman was the mother of four daughters, ages three, eleven, and eleven months.
