Tragic Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of Ocean County Resident
According to NJ State Police, on October 3, a man from Brick Township was thrown from his motorcycle on Route 72 and died.
The collision, which was reported on October 3 at 6:12 p.m., left Christopher Elk, 46, with fatal injuries, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
According to Lebron, Elk was traveling east on Route 72 when his Suzuki swerved off the road and struck a tree around milepost 9.5.
Elk reported that the impact caused him to be flung from the motorcycle.
Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
