Two Vehicles Are Stolen From Unlocked Sources
According to Toms River Police Department, after multiple unsuccessful attempts at locked vehicles & homes, two vehicles are stolen from unlocked sources.
At approximately 5:04 AM, police were dispatched to Brentwood Avenue, Tallymawr, for a reported motor vehicle theft. The homeowner stated that his 2017 Range Rover Sport was stolen from his driveway. After reviewing Ring camera footage, the homeowner discovered that three unknown male suspects, wearing masks and gloves, made entry into his residence at 2:45 AM through an unlocked front door, and retrieved the vehicle key.
Police were called to Benjamin Street in Tallymawr at around 8:30 AM for a reported car theft. The owner reported that his 2022 Audi RS7 had been stolen at around 2:30 AM while it was unlocked. There were no indications that somebody had broken into the house, and nothing else was reported missing or damaged.
Toms River Police are reminding the public to check your home and vehicle doors regularly.
