Two Individuals Arrested for Distributing Child Porn in Ocean County

According to the Ocean County Prosecutors Office, Julianna E. Goldstein, 20, of Berkeley Township, and Logan A. Oliveira, 23, of Toms River, were taken into custody on on April 29, 2025.

Logan Oliveira, a 23-year-old Toms River resident, was accused with conspiring to manufacture child pornography, distributing it, and possessing it. Julianna Goldstein, 20, of Berkeley Township, was also charged with criminal sexual contact, manufacturing child pornography, distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography, and conspiracy to manufacture child pornography.
This investigation was the result of a referral from the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The ICAC Task Force received a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an individual was uploading and distributing images of child pornography to the internet across various internet platforms.

Logan Oliveira, 23, of Toms River & Julianna Goldstein, 20, of Berkeley Township

An investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad identified a cell phone number associated with a Toms River residence as the location from which an individual was uploading and distributing images of child pornography.

That individual was ultimately identified as Oliveira. The investigation further revealed that Oliveira often communicated and sent messages to another cell phone number which belonged to Goldstein.

A review of various messages between Oliveira and Goldstein revealed that Goldstein was sending nude photos of juveniles to Oliveira. It was also learned that Oliveira instructed Goldstein to touch a juvenile in an inappropriate manner and send photos of the inappropriate touching to Oliveira.
On April 29, 2025, Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit, Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations, and Toms River Township Police Department executed a court-authorized search warrant on Oliveira’s residence in Toms River.

An initial forensic examination of Oliveira’s electronic devices led to the discovery of several items of child pornography. Oliveira was taken into custody at the residence without incident. He was transported to the Ocean County Jail where he is presently lodged pending a detention hearing.
On that same date, Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit, Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations, and Berkeley Township Police Department, executed court-authorized search warrants on Goldstein’s residence in Berkeley Township.

An initial forensic examination of Goldstein’s electronic devices led to the discovery of several items of child pornography. Goldstein was taken into custody at the residence without incident. She was likewise transported to the Ocean County Jail where she is presently lodged pending a detention hearing.
The charges referenced above are merely accusations and the press and public are reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
