Two New Jersey Brothers Identified After Fatal Weekend Crash

Two of four brothers from New Jersey tragically lost their lives in an accident when their vehicle veered off an I-95 overpass in the Port Richmond area of Philadelphia, as reported by Pennsylvania State Police.

According to police, a Mazda carrying the four brothers somehow departed from I-95 and fell onto Castor Avenue beneath the interstate at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Joshua Davis from Cranbury and 23-year-old Aaron Davis from East Windsor, as disclosed by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health on Monday. Their other two brothers, 18-year-old twins Benjamin and Nathaniel from East Windsor, sustained serious injuries in the incident, according to State Police.
According to state police, a Mazda was traveling northbound on I-95 at approximately 8:10 p.m. on Friday when the driver lost control near mile marker 25.5, resulting in the vehicle leaving the roadway.

The car subsequently collided with a guardrail and rolled over several times before coming to rest on Castor Avenue, situated beneath the interstate.

Two of the brothers in the vehicle were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected during the incident. One was declared dead at the scene, while the other succumbed to injuries at a nearby hospital.

The remaining two occupants are reported to be in critical condition, as stated by the police.

Witnesses informed authorities that the Mazda was racing a Dodge Challenger on the interstate prior to the loss of control and subsequent crash.
