Two Teens Hurt in Dirt Bike Accident in Ocean County, One Airlifted to Hospital

According to Manchester Police Department, two 18-year-olds from Browns Mills suffered serious injuries in a dirt bike accident in the Greenwood Forest Wildlife Management area on Sunday.

William Vandergrift II was transported to Community Medical Center in Toms River and Dominic Valdivieso was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden after the collision, which occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, according to police.

According to authorities, both were in stable condition on Tuesday.

According to authorities, the crash occurred when Valdivieso, on a Yamaha, did a U-turn on the trail while Vandergrift was riding a Kawasaki north on Hay Road in the wildlife management area.

According to police, Vandergrift was consequently thrown from the Kawasaki.

According to police, paramedics from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Priced Rite Towing, and the Manchester Township Division of Emergency Services responded to the collision.

The investigation is being conducted by Patrolman Kamar Gainey of the Traffic Safety Unit of the Manchester Township Police Department.
