Update on Beau and Arrow’s Recovery After the Devastating Fire

As part of the Associated Humane Societies, we want to share the story of Beau and Arrow, two 4-month-old puppies who survived a heartbreaking two-alarm house fire in Milmay, NJ.

The Aftermath of the Fire: Beau and Arrow’s Continuing Fight

After surviving the devastating two-alarm fire, Beau and Arrow’s fight is far from over.

When they first arrived, both puppies were frightened and suffering from burn injuries, but they were alive. Our medical team began treatment immediately. While Beau’s burns were initially more severe in appearance, Arrow’s condition has since worsened as damaged skin continues to deteriorate, leaving a large and painful wound across his back.

Burn injuries can evolve over time, and Arrow now requires emergency hospitalization and advanced wound care beyond what a shelter setting can provide. Both puppies have been transferred for intensive treatment, where they will receive the specialized care they urgently need.

Their road to recovery will be long and costly, but they deserve every chance to heal.

We are asking our community to come together for Beau and Arrow. Your donation will directly support their emergency medical treatment and give them the opportunity for a brighter, pain-free future.
