Violent Incident at Jersey Shore Motel: Woman Arrested
According to Wildwood Crest Police Department, officers were called to a reported altercation in progress at a motel in the 6200 block of Ocean Avenue on Monday, June 17, 2024.
Witnesses stated that a very drunk female, later identified as
Fallan Turner, 43, was acting erratically in the pool when they arrived. Authorities discovered that Mrs. Turner had taken hold of an unrelated male child who was ten years old and swung him around in the swimming pool, submerging him. As the dad tried to intervene she jumped on his back and grabbed him inappropriately.
Mrs. Turner got combative while the officers were chatting with her, and they had to take her into custody. Mrs. Turner pushed the arresting officer in the face while he was handcuffing her because she was resisting his authority.
She remained extremely belligerent and uncooperative with officers while processing at police headquarters, even biting one of them in the hand. Neither of the officers was seriously hurt.
Mrs. Turner was charged with the above listed offenses and lodged in Cape May County Correctional Facility in accordance with the Attorney General Guidelines, promulgated in connection with the Criminal Justice Bail Reform Policies and Directives
Any charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless they are proven guilty.
