Weather Alert: NJ Faces Several Rounds of Stormy Weather

Expect Multiple Rounds of Rain and Thunderstorms in New Jersey

According to the National Weather Service, the most recent projection shows New Jersey will have summer-like weather along with a stormy, erratic stretch into next week.

It will be warm and muggy on Friday and Saturday. As a slow-moving front approaches the area, both days may also see some stormy weather. Forecasters at AccuWeather expect hail and heavy rain for the northwest region of the state on Friday.
Weather forecasts predict a rainy Saturday. Due to the front's slow motion, the storm's intensity may be constrained. But as of Thursday morning, the state is at a "marginal" chance of severe storms on Saturday, according to the Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service.

According to AccuWeather analysts, thunderstorms will occur over the whole state. After that, more erratic weather is predicted, though forecasters are not sure how it will develop.
Senior Meteorologist Dave Dombek of AccuWeather stated, "There is a fork in the road in terms of what that storm may do next after Saturday and has to do with where and when a storm in the jet stream level of the atmosphere emerges."

After another stormy Sunday, dry air would drive rain offshore, and it might accelerate. Showers and sporadic thunderstorms may persist throughout the following week if a storm forms at the atmosphere's jet stream level.
After yet another stormy Sunday, dry air would drive rain offshore, and it might intensify. Showers and isolated thunderstorms may persist throughout the next week if a storm forms in the atmosphere's jet stream level.

The forecast for New Jersey for the upcoming week would be wetter and cooler as a result. Additionally, that might be helpful in addressing wildfire worries, even though it won't be enjoyable for outdoor activities.
