Tuesday and Wednesday are predicted to bring scattered showers and possible thunderstorms to New Jersey, with persistently erratic weather for the remainder of the week.

On Monday, temperatures will continue to rise above average, reaching the low 80s under partly cloudy sky.

The likelihood of showers and isolated thunderstorms is highest on Tuesday afternoon, especially in northern and western New Jersey.

The low to mid-80s will be the temperature, and the humidity will rise.

The whole forecast area Tuesday night has a minor chance of thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
On Wednesday, a cold front will continue the erratic weather pattern by slowly moving through the region.

Temperatures will be slightly colder than Tuesday but still above average for late September, with shower chances remaining between 30% and 50%. According to the extended prediction, there will likely be showers and an unstable weather pattern until the end of the week.
