Wintry Mix Expected Across New Jersey Tonight
According to the National Weather Service, wintry precipitation will be moving across the region over the next 4-8 hours. Minor accumulations are expected, before tapering off after midnight.
If traveling tonight, slippery road conditions may become possible. Take extra precautions as needed.
In the far northwest, overnight lows are predicted to drop into the mid-20s, but they won't drop below the low 30s anywhere else.
With above-normal temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s, dry conditions, and at least some sun on both Monday and Tuesday, forecasters say we'll get a little respite from winter. Lows in the 40s are typical for early February highs.
Accuweather also predicts a mix of rain, freezing rain, light snow, or a combination of these conditions on Wednesday and Thursday.
In its Sunday morning forecast, the weather service stated that there is a great deal of uncertainty regarding the kind of precipitation that the system will bring, with the possibility of several different kinds.
