"Over the last few days, my family and I have been trying to understand what has happened to our perfect 11 year old Emma.
For those of you that do not know, on Sunday, October 15th, Emma went to Six Flags Great Adventure with her friends. Emma suddenly collapsed.
A Good Samaritan witnessed what happened and started CPR immediately. EMS arrived quickly and Emma was brought to CentraState Hospital. She was then immediately transferred to St. Peter’s Hospital where she could receive a higher level of care.
She is currently heavily sedated in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on a ventilator.
The doctors have not been able to provide us with any definitive explanations as to what may have caused this. We are praying for Emma’s full recovery.
This GoFundMe has been created to help alleviate the financial burden this has placed on the family. Jim Chev Kenzie Dennis and Ellla are desperate for Emma to come home.
Our family asks for your prayers for Emma. We appreciate any support that you are able to offer during this difficult time, even if it just means sharing our story in hopes that many others include Emma in their prayers.
