OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — A 21-year-old Berkeley Township woman has pleaded guilty to distributing child sexual abuse material following an investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and multiple law enforcement agencies.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that Julianna Goldstein entered her guilty plea on November 2, 2026, before Superior Court Judge Dina M. Vicari. The charge stems from an investigation into the distribution of sexually explicit images involving juveniles.
At her scheduled sentencing on February 5, 2027, prosecutors will seek a three-year prison term in New Jersey State Prison. Goldstein will also be subject to Parole Supervision for Life and required to register as a Megan’s Law offender.
The investigation began after the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip reported that an individual was uploading and distributing child sexual abuse material across multiple online platforms.
Investigators with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad traced a phone number associated with a Toms River residence to the suspected online activity. The individual was identified as co-defendant Logan Oliveira, 25, of Toms River.
Further investigation revealed that Oliveira frequently communicated with Goldstein through text messages. According to authorities, a review of those communications showed Goldstein had sent nude photographs of juveniles to Oliveira. Investigators also learned that Oliveira had directed Goldstein to engage in inappropriate touching of a juvenile and send him photographs documenting the conduct.
On April 29, 2025, detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad, Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations, and Berkeley Township Police Department executed court-authorized search warrants at Goldstein’s Berkeley Township residence.
An initial forensic examination of her electronic devices uncovered several items of child sexual abuse material. Goldstein was arrested at the residence without incident and transported to the Ocean County Jail. She was later released under New Jersey’s bail reform laws.
Oliveira previously pleaded guilty to distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material on December 16, 2025, before Judge Vicari.
He remains detained at the Ocean County Jail while awaiting sentencing scheduled for December 4, 2026.
Prosecutors will seek a five-year prison term with a five-year period of parole ineligibility for the distribution charge, along with an additional five-year term for possession. The sentences are expected to run concurrently.
Like Goldstein, Oliveira will also be subject to Parole Supervision for Life and required to register as a Megan’s Law offender.
Prosecutor Billhimer credited Assistant Prosecutor Lynn Juan with handling the case on behalf of the State.
He also recognized the investigative work and cooperation of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad, Homeland Security Investigations, Toms River Township Police Department, Berkeley Township Police Department, Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Authorities said the investigation involved a coordinated effort among local, county, state, and federal agencies.
