Nor’easter in the Forecast for NJ
A "significant storm" might develop into a nor'easter along the East Coast late this week and into the weekend. According to , AccuWeather , New Jersey could have another windy, wet weekend.
Enjoy these crisp fall weekdays while you can, as residents of the Garden State should once more get ready for a rainy weekend.
An
AccuWeather study states that changing weather patterns point to the development of a nor'easter along the East Coast. Early this weekend, a storm system will start to form off the coast and move north, bringing with it a prolonged period of precipitation.
While the area is forecast to experience the heaviest winds on Sunday, rain is anticipated to arrive later in the day on Friday. Scott Homan, a meteorologist for AccuWeather, reports that Saturday will see intermittent rain.
This weather system might make this weekend's outdoor plans difficult by bringing thunderstorms, torrential rain, and brisk winds to the northeastern United States.
The
National Weather Service has issued a forecast for Friday that may include light rain. It's expected that the temperatures will stay fairly warm and that it will be somewhat humid for late October. The storm's exact timing and ferocity on New Jersey, however, are still unknown.
Although temperatures may be warmer, Saturday's weather appears to be a cause for concern as projections indicate the possibility of steadier rainfall. Alternatively, more showery weather with slightly higher temperatures approaching 60°F is also possible.
