$4M Mega Millions Ticket Purchased in New Jersey
The ticket was purchased with the Megaplier option, which doubled the prize total to $4,000,000, and it matched five of the five white balls drawn.
28 lottery players matched four of the five white balls drawn in addition to the winning ticket, making each ticket worth $500.
According to officials, five of those tickets were bought using the Megaplier option, which increased the winnings to $2,000.
According to officials, 30,963 additional gamers in New Jersey received prizes totaling $174,674, ranging from $2 to $800.
For Tuesday's drawing, the winning numbers were 09, 14, 26, and 51. The Megaplier Multiplier was 4 and the Gold Mega Ball was 21.
The jackpot now rolls over to $306 million for the next drawing, which takes place on Friday at 11 p.m.
