Toms River Community Mourns Heartbreaking Loss

Rest In Peace Leigha Cirillo

According to GoFundMe organized by Michelle Neveling, 15 Year-Old Warrior Princess, Leigha Cirillo gained her wings and became our Guardian Angel.

She is the strongest girl any of us will ever know. The family is beginning the grieving process, and they thank all of you for your thoughts, prayers and support. We will leave the Go Fund Me open for a few more days if you would like to donate to this special family.

Hello, my name is Michelle Neveling. I am Leigha Cirillo’s aunt and Erica’s sister. As many of you know, Leigha has been terminally ill since birth. Her original prognosis was to only live until the age of two. Miracle after miracle has blessed us with Leigha for the past 15 years. Unfortunately, we may have run out of miracles.

The Cirillo Family is one of the most generous families I know. They always support their community with volunteer work and financial support. This year has been extremely difficult on the family physically, emotionally, and financially as they have endured several hospital stays and surgeries for Leigha. It is now our turn to help support the Cirillo family.

Erica has been the full-time caretaker while Joe has financially supported the family through these tough times. This past week, Leigha has been placed on hospice. Obviously, her prognosis is not good, and Joe has had to miss many days and weeks of work to be with his family. It has truly taken a toll on everyone.

I ask at this most difficult of times that you find it in your heart to help the family who has always helped others. Please donate any amount you can to help this family through Leigha’s final journey.
