Making Strides has always been more than just a walk, it’s a movement. They are making it easier for anyone, anywhere to make an impact. They know the future can be free from breast cancer. American Cancer Society is asking you to join the movement and sign up to save lives.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Point Pleasant Beach

Check-In & Tents Open: 8:00 a.m.
3.1 mile walk- Start Time: 10:00 a.m.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a 3.1-mile walk at your own pace walk. If you cannot walk the full route, you do not have to.
LOCATION
The walk route goes along the Jenkinson's Boardwalk, down Ocean Ave and around the Lake of the Lillies starting at 10:00 a.m. The event runs from 8a.m. to noon and aside from the walk, we will have activities, live entertainment, giveaways, refreshments and survivor/caregiver recognition. There will be traffic and road closings as we approach the walk start so please plan to arrive early. If you do not plan to arrive for tent opening at 8am, we highly recommend taking a shuttle from one of our 3 shuttle stops that are explained below. PARKING For your convenience, parking meters will not be enforced in Point Pleasant Beach from 8:00AM through 12:30PM. After this time, it is your responsibility to make sure your meter is paid according to Point Pleasant Beach guidelines.SHUTTLES
There will be continuous shuttle service from the following locations beginning at 7:00am through 1:00pm:(Please note that restrooms are NOT available at these locations)
**Wheelchair accessible bus service will be available at all locations.
PARKING
For your convenience, parking meters will not be enforced in Point Pleasant Beach from 8:00AM through 12:30PM. After this time, it is your responsibility to make sure your meter is paid according to Point Pleasant Beach guidelines.
IMPORTANT: Please note that parking will not be available in the Silver Lake Parking Lot or along the immediate areas of Arnold & Ocean Avenues. Please plan accordingly - we recommend using the Shuttle Service as explained below if you plan on arriving past 8am. The Jenkinson's lot directly along the walk route close at 7am for security.
