Our next storm system, is expected to bring rain from Thursday midday to Saturday morning. Late Friday is predicted to bring the hardest and most consistent rainfall. And meteorologists are absolutely watching the potential for some snowflakes mixing in on the front-end and back-end of that system – not a tremendous concern, but worth noting.

According to the National Weather Service, confidence is increasing in a widespread 1"+ of rain falling over the area with the heaviest coming Friday afternoon and evening.
As an exceptionally chilly weather pattern continues to emerge in the Northeast this week, a storm is predicted to form and bring heavy rain—along with possible snow at high elevations—by the weekend, AccuWeather meteorologists say.
