After Bomb Scare, Jackson Premium Outlets Welcomes Shoppers Again

5/10/25- According to Jackson Township Police Department, on Friday, May 9, 2025, in the afternoon before Mother's Day, Jackson Premium Outlets was evacuated due to a bomb threat.

According to the township police, they evacuated all patrons and staff from every store after receiving a report of an explosive device at Jackson Premium Outlets.

In an online statement, police stated, "No one has been hurt, and this is just a precaution at this time until the investigation is finished."

Jackson police reported at approximately 5:20 p.m. that they had found no evidence of any devices during their inspection of the outlet mall on Monmouth Road.

"After sweep of all stores, the location has been deemed safe to resume normal business," police stated. "Officers are in the process of breaking down the scene and regular activites have been resumed with patrons being permitted to return."
