Troopers Seek Information on June 29 Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident
1 dead, 1 injured, 2 flee scene after multi-vehicle crash on Garden State Parkway.
State Police Seeking Public’s Assistance with a Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash Investigation.
On Sunday, June 29, troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash at 7:04 p.m. on the Garden State Parkway south, milepost 130.2, in Woodbridge Township, Middlesex County.
Based on a preliminary investigation, a BMW SUV was traveling south on the Garden State Parkway and was occupied by four individuals from Staten Island, NY. A Ford SUV and a BMW passenger vehicle were also traveling south on the Parkway.
In the area of milepost 130.2, the BMW SUV impacted the Ford SUV and the BMW passenger vehicle. The BMW SUV then ran off the road, struck multiple trees, and overturned.
Two occupants of the BMW SUV fled the scene.
As a result of the crash, one occupant sustained fatal injuries, and another sustained serious injuries.
The drivers of the Ford SUV and the BMW passenger vehicle were not injured.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
