Jason Kozuch Obituary

Jason Michael Kozuch, 41, tragically passed away on June 28, 2025. Primarily raised in Toms River, resided in Bayville and most recently Vincentown, Jay brought a smile to life that would stand out in a sea of people, with an ability to show kindness, love, and compassion to anyone that crossed paths with him.

He was wise beyond his years and gifted with such a beautiful spirit. His connection and love with nature, be it animals, vegetation, or water, was second only to his love for his children.

Jay could figure out and fix ANYTHING. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and rider since he was a young boy, and an exceptional mechanic, as well as a professional machinist at Lakehurst Naval Base.

Jay had a passion for anything with a motor in it, and could often be found either on 2 wheels, or swinging a wrench to get back on 2 wheels as soon as possible. His passion and talent for music were both electrifying and contagious. He could play any instrument he touched, and inspired and taught so many of us to play along with him.

Most of all, Jay will be remembered for how much love he poured into those around him. Even with all he had endured through his life, he would find a way to smile, just to make you smile.

He is survived by his beautiful children Phoenix and Wolfgang, his partner Kristin and her children Ashley and Tommy, his brothers Kyle and Eric, his sister Kimberly, nephew Jaiveon, nieces Aria, Natalie, and Raven, his mother Linda, step-mother Joan, father Michael, and so many, many dear friends. Thank you for everything.

Thank you for every ounce of you that you gave to us. The world will forever be in debt for not seeing your full potential. You had a beautiful mind and an amazing soul.

A truly sincere and wonderful man. We will always love and miss you immensely, Jason. I hope Remdog was waiting for you.

Be free now. Be free.

We ask that those who are attending Jay’s service, to wear colorful attire and/or your favorite band shirt as we celebrate Jay’s life.
