Mark Nicholas Grimes, Jr., 40, of Brick Township, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Mark was born in Long Branch, NJ on September 21, 1984 to his parents Mark and Susan (nee McFaulds) Grimes.

Mark graduated from Toms River South in 2002 and went on to Georgian Court University. He was a member of Phi Beta. Mark received his degree in accounting in 2009 and he was a member of the Honors Society Alpha Beta Gama. Mark met Monica in class at Georgian Court, they started dating in 2008 and got married in 2016.

Mark worked as an accountant for Greek Real Estate Partners in East Brunswick, NJ. Mark was a big sports fan and loved the Mets and Giants. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing. Family was everything to Mark and he loved all of his cousins, aunts, and uncles. If you were Marks friend, you were his friend for life. Mark is a beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother and friend who will be deeply missed.

Mark is preceded in death by his father Mark Nicholas Grimes, Sr., his maternal grandparents Elaine and Joseph McFaulds, his special aunt Ellen Egan, and his mother in law Susan Krasa.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Monica (Krasa) Grimes, his daughter Madelyn Sue Grimes, his mother Susan Grimes, his sister Bryanna Grimes, his niece Brooklynn Sue Grimes, his paternal grandmother Catherine Grimes, and his father in law Eric Krasa, as well as many cherished cousins, uncles and aunts.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark’s memory to Maddie’s education.
