Head-On Collision Near Atlantic City Airport Leaves Three Seriously Injured

According to the Township of Hamilton Police Department, a head-on collision near the Atlantic City Airport on Thursday left three people gravely hurt.

Shortly before 12 p.m. on September 4, the collision occurred on Hamilton's Tilton Road.

According to authorities, a Mercedes driven by a 20-year-old lady from Atlantic City was traveling east when it crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. According to authorities, the vehicle struck a Toyota Tacoma driven by a 66-year-old man from Egg Harbor City head-on.
According to authorities, the woman and her passenger, a 30-year-old woman from Atlantic City, were transported by ambulance to the hospital, while the man was evacuated to AtlantiCare - City Division.

All three suffered severe injuries in the collision.

While the accident was being investigated, traffic was rerouted for a number of hours.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated. The Township of Hamilton Police Department is asking anyone with information to get in touch with their department.
